I was on track while pursuing my dream of being a motivational speaker. I left a "good job" to pursue my speaking career full-time. As with any dream worth having, the paid opportunities were picking up at a slow pace. My son's mom decided that the dream was mine to pursue alone. On July 4, 2014, she made the decision to pack her things and my son's things as well. I was crushed and completely broken.I had been working on my first book, Claim Your Destiny, for the past four years. After that day, I began to work fervently on completing the book. Within three months, I finished it. I was still unsure of the next steps. I did not know anything about graphic design for a professional cover. I did not know any editors. I did not know anything about book formatting. Most importantly, I did not know anything about the publishing process! My first book was finished but I was so scared that I sat the book on the shelf. That book stayed on the shelf for another nine months. On July 13, 2015, I published my first edition of Claim Your Destiny!
